How do Credits work?
Ahana Cloud Credits provides flexible use of AWS instance types for the Presto Coordinator, Workers, and the optional Ahana-managed Hive Metastore (HMS), depending on your analytical workload. Each AWS instance type hourly usage is associated with a specific number of Ahana Cloud Credits. Smaller instances use less Ahana Credits while bigger instances use more Ahana Credits per hour. Each credit is priced at $0.25. And you only pay for what you use, all directly through the AWS Marketplace. And you only get billed if you bring up Presto or HMS.
Example of a monthly Ahana Cloud compute cost:
Presto Cluster of 5 x r5.xlarge running every workday = $569/month
